Bee-B-Gone is a spray item used to deal with bees in Escape Academy. You'll need to find it inside a hidden cabinet before you can clear a bee-blocked area and reach the valve that supplies water for the level's tea-making objective. This guide walks through locating the spray, using it, and finishing the puzzle it unlocks.

How to Find Bee-B-Gone

The spray is not out in the open — it's stored inside a cabinet that only opens after you solve a color-sequence lock.

  1. Locate the little secret overgrown door and go inside [src-cc415a0c9f].
  2. As soon as you get inside, turn to your right-hand side to find the butterfly door [src-cc415a0c9f].
  3. Enter the following color sequence on the butterfly door: pink, green, blue, pink, yellow, yellow [src-cc415a0c9f].
  4. Click all of those in a row — the cabinet opens [src-cc415a0c9f].
  5. Take the Bee-B-Gone from inside the cabinet [src-cc415a0c9f].

The Bee-B-Gone itself is a bug spray whose purpose is to let you gain access to a new area of the map [src-cc415a0c9f].

How to Use Bee-B-Gone

Once you have the spray in hand, the route to the bees is short:

  1. Walk back out the door you came through [src-cc415a0c9f].
  2. Turn to the right [src-cc415a0c9f].
  3. Use the Bee-B-Gone on the bees here to get rid of them [src-cc415a0c9f].

Clearing the bees opens up the blocked spot, which allows you to interact with the valve and turn on the water for the tea you're about to make [src-cc415a0c9f].

Finishing the Tea Puzzle

With the water valve now reachable, head back to the middle of the map and go to the tea-making station [src-cc415a0c9f]. You can complete the three interactions in any order; the walkthrough's order is:

  1. Interact with the kettle to put the tea leaves in first [src-cc415a0c9f].
  2. Interact with the valve near the top of the screen to pour in the water [src-cc415a0c9f].
  3. Interact with the bottom to connect the propane tank [src-cc415a0c9f].

Doing all three makes the perfect tea and completes the level [src-cc415a0c9f].

Rewards

Completing the level this way unlocks an achievement or trophy, after which you're brought back to the dorm to continue with more of the game [src-cc415a0c9f]. The walkthrough's achievement description for this completion reads "Steeped in the teakettle and lived to tell the tale" [src-cc415a0c9f].

Tips

  • Do the color lock carefully. The sequence is six inputs long (pink, green, blue, pink, yellow, yellow), and it must be clicked in a row to open the cabinet [src-cc415a0c9f]. If the cabinet doesn't open, re-enter the sequence from the start.
  • Grab the spray before heading to the bees. Bee-B-Gone is required to remove them — without it you can't reach the valve that turns on the tea water [src-cc415a0c9f].
  • Don't worry about tea-station order. The kettle, valve, and propane tank interactions can be done in any order, so if you get turned around, just make sure all three are completed [src-cc415a0c9f].
  • Retrace your steps exactly. After collecting the spray, exit through the same door you entered and turn right to find the bees [src-cc415a0c9f].
