The Quad is a central hub location on the Escape Academy map, found in the middle of the campus layout. It is where you can find and talk to Professor Bonilla (also heard as "Bonia" or "Botney" in walkthrough narration) [src-cc415a0c9f]. Finding The Quad

The Quad sits in the middle of the Escape Academy map. After finishing the tutorial missions, leave the dorm by clicking the door, then open the map. Any location marked with a person icon is worth visiting to talk to whoever is there [src-cc415a0c9f]. The Quad is one of the first stops you can make, alongside the headmaster's office and the library [src-eca7cb7683].

Talking to [Professor Bonilla

1. Exit the dorm and open the map.
2. Select The Quad in the middle of the map.
3. Talk to Bonilla/Bonia to trigger her conversation. You can skip the dialogue if you don't want to read it [src-cc415a0c9f].
4. Afterward, continue to the headmaster's office and the library to clear the other conversations [src-eca7cb7683].

These optional side conversations count toward an achievement for completing eight of them; the Quad talk is one of the early ones you can bank [src-cc415a0c9f].

The Quad Puzzle (Minutes to Midnight)

Later in the story, the Quad becomes a puzzle location. Head into the Quad to start it [src-6146959a4c].

1. Talk to the professor. You'll find her having tea; she reveals she has rigged the Quad with a military-grade explosive for the night's lesson and you must defuse it [src-6146959a4c].
2. Explore for keys. You need two keys. Search the area — there are vehicles (vans) around the Quad, and you can grab a set of keys from inside one [src-6146959a4c].
3. Check the radios. Inside the vans you'll find radios with adjustable stations. Note the station settings — matching radio frequencies appears to be part of the solution [src-6146959a4c].
4. Open the bomb. Use the keys you collected to unlock the bomb casing and begin the defusal sequence [src-6146959a4c].

Later Visits
